How to Find Energy Healing Clients During Energy Healing Certification

Now, the question is, how to find clients?! Let’s get clear on what you need to know and what you can do to find wonderful clients right away.

  1. Realize that people want help.

If you have attended an Emotion Code or Body Code seminar, or have started practicing with your close friends or family, then you have had the opportunity to work with people already. Perhaps you’ve already had some success clearing trapped emotions and Heart-Wall® emotions! You know that you can do it and you know that people want help clearing that baggage. They probably thanked you for what you did for them, even though you may have lacked confidence because it was so new to you. They still wanted your help. They were grateful. Knowing that means that it’s okay if you’re still learning how. You don’t have to be an expert to have people want you to work with them. You just need to be willing to work and have the desire to help people.

  1. Decide to communicate with people wherever you go.

You can make new acquaintances that become your friends and clients in many places. It might be in a class, a park, a friend’s home, at a party, in a salon, at church, or at your workplace. You can meet people anywhere which allows for a comfortable time and place to communicate.

When you are present and listen to others, it’s likely that you will come to find out that they have emotional baggage that is creating problems for them, too. They just don’t know how to get rid of it yet. This can present a wonderful opportunity to share the Emotion Code and the Body Code with them. You can share what you know. Tell them that you have come across an amazing method that is helping you and others. It’s really cool! You are still learning, but it’s quick and easy to demonstrate. You can offer to show them how you do it right then or set up an appointment to get together again.

  1. Be intentional about how and what to communicate.

You might want to tell your friend or new acquaintance an interesting Emotion Code or Body Code story. If you don’t have your own to share quite yet, we have hundreds of great testimonials on our website that you can share. If they seem interested, curious, or amazed, this is a great way to segue into asking if they’d like to try a session with you. Or, if they start to tell you about their own similar issues, wondering if it might have an emotional cause like the person in the story, well, then it’s easy to suggest you try helping them with these issues!

Another way to engage in a conversation is to chat with people about energy healing in general, and some of the interesting things that you have learned recently. Energy work is a popular and interesting topic. If they are intrigued at all, you might do a demonstration. Share your enthusiasm about the Emotion Code and Body Code – because when you are excited, others will want to know why.

We have a few templates that can help you quickly and clearly explain what the Emotion Code and Body Code are. These might be helpful as you explain these methods of healing to potential clients! Read those here: https://discoverhealing.com/energy-healing-articles/how-can-i-explain-the-emotion-code-and-the-body-code-to-people/

When people seem interested, that’s a great time to let them know that you are currently working on a goal to get certified. Perhaps let them know that you’d be happy to check and see if they have any trapped emotions that might be contributing to their back pain, or whatever the issue is.

  1. Convey the benefits.

People want to know what the benefits are for them. Why is energy healing so great? Let them know how doing the Emotion Code or Body Code has been healing for you, whether it relieved pain, helped your body function better, helped you think or feel more like your real self, or healed a relationship. Personal stories are great to illustrate the value of the work because when they hear how you have been helped to get rid of your pain, depression, or inability to feel love, or whatever it was, it may create hope that they can be helped, too.

If you don’t have any stories of your own yet, there are plenty of stories and testimonials that you can borrow from the website, from Dr. Nelson’s two bestselling books, and from other people that have been doing the work longer. Stories are like moving pictures in the mind. There is an old saying, “One picture is worth a thousand words.” If that is true, the story you share will tell volumes!

  1. Find the right clients.

Look for people who are open about energy work, or at least interested enough to listen. It’s often easiest to start with friends and family members. Others that might be interested are those who are struggling with a challenge. They may have pain, illness, or a chronic problem that is difficult for them. They might have just experienced something traumatic like a breakup, a divorce, the loss of a loved one, or the loss of a job. They might have a phobia, be worried about something, or feel unhappy. They can be anybody that has a problem or an issue. They just have to be willing to work on it. Just make sure that if they are a minor, you have the permission of their parent or guardian.

Be aware that not everyone wants to let bad things go. If they are mentally unhealthy, or stuck somehow, unwilling to make positive changes in their life, it may not be the right time to work with them. They need to want to heal. Sometimes people are toxic and subconsciously want to stay sick and miserable. They hang on to emotional baggage to avoid taking responsibility for their own life. They might rather blame someone else for their troubles than take responsibility for their own well-being. You cannot help people that do not want help, so look for people that will be able to benefit from your efforts instead.

Look for people who want to learn, heal, and who want to grow. Ask them if they would like to have you do some work with them to help them to feel better. Let them know that they would be helping you to get certified, too. If they see it as a win-win, it’s easy for them to say yes.

  1. Know that people need this work.

Almost everyone has some emotional baggage, or what we call trapped emotions. We’re all human and we all have problems that can lead to trapped emotions. Remember that 93% of the people on the planet each have a Heart-Wall. That means we really need to do a lot of emotional work on each other! When you connect with someone who has confided in you about an emotional trauma in their life or has just had an event that was upsetting and hurtful in some way, they felt safe enough to tell you. That shows some trust. They might want help. People do need this work. It helps them to get beyond emotional and physical pain and to find healing and happiness.

  1. Have a little faith.

People usually do want to figure out why they have a problem so that they can fix it. If they hear that their problem might be able to be corrected by clearing a trapped emotion or two, they might think it sounds too good to be true. If they have a little faith, they may feel like it’s worth a try. If they seem unsure, let them know that you have faith that they can be helped. You have seen it work before. You have read stories about it, too. It just takes a little faith, so why not try? It can’t hurt. They won’t have to reopen any old wounds. They won’t have to share private thoughts or feelings. All they have to do is be willing to give it a try. If they have a little faith and decide to try the Emotion Code or Body Code with you, they could be on their way to feeling better.

  1. Commit with purpose.

When you set a goal to become certified as an Emotion Code Practitioner, be committed to your purpose. When you are clear about the reasons why you are getting certified to do this work and when your reasons are based on the true and grounding principle of love, nothing will stop you from finding clients. Doors will open. Heaven and earth will move for you.

Don’t let anything get in your way. Be effective, state your intentions clearly with faith and commitment, and then look for opportunities. They will be there.

  1. Communicate your goals.

Another thing that will help you to create success in finding clients is to tell your friends what you are doing. Some of them will want to support you in your purpose and become a client. When you let friends know that you are committed to your goal of becoming certified, they will be watching to see if you will follow through. You are more likely to succeed if you know that they are expecting you to do what you said you’d do. It will make you stronger in your resolve, with your friends’ expectations and support behind you.

  1. Love unconditionally.

People have a need to know that they are loved and that they matter. When they understand that your motivation to help them is unconditional love, they will be more likely to be open to allowing you to work with them.

If you are having issues with your attachment to others, experiencing co-dependency, or wanting to control others, these problems will get in the way of your energy healing intentions. If a client feels like you think something is wrong with them, that you are judging them, or manipulating them and trying to force change, it is not likely that you will succeed in working with them. Working with another practitioner can help you resolve these issues so you can be a more effective energy healer.

When you do the work with the right attitude and in the right way, when you are willing to share someone’s burden, just long enough to listen, care, and release their trapped emotions, you have really done something meaningful. Giving unconditional love allows others to feel safe and valued. Knowing that you can make that kind of difference for someone else will certainly bring joy to you.

  1. Appreciate your clients.

While you are in your certification process, do not charge for your sessions. Being in the certification process is like going to school to learn the basics. It’s an introduction to the work, a time to practice and work the kinks out. You might do everything perfectly from day one, but just in case you don’t, it is time to refine your work. If you help your clients during your certification process, which you probably will, they’ll love you for it. Your rewards are to see them happy, feel their gratitude, and learn. Make sure to let your clients know that you are planning to charge for sessions after you are certified. Tell them that you will be looking for more clients, and ask for referrals. The best time to ask is when they are excited about how much you have helped them.

Let your clients know that you appreciate them, too. When you express your gratitude, you may find that they will want to continue to work with you after you are certified. That relationship can bring continued blessings to both of you. A caring note expressing your gratitude, an email asking how they are doing occasionally, or an incentive such as a coupon for savings on a session may mean a lot to them as well. It will keep you in their conscious thoughts. Show your continued support and love, and make sure to let them know that you are still there to help. You may just get some calls.

When you’re first reaching out to someone if you’d like to send them a note, we have a template to help you craft your message. You can then email, text, or even send direct messages on social media to prospective clients.

Emotion Code Outreach Template:

If you’re reaching out to provide an Emotion Code Session, here is a great way to let them know all the necessary details.

Start with an introduction:

“Hi _____! I’m currently getting certified in an energy healing modality called the Emotion Code. Would you be interested in a few free sessions? I’m looking for volunteers to work with during my certification training and I’d love to tell you all about this energy healing method! It’s a simple process that will allow you to let go of the emotional baggage that may be holding you back. Let me know if you’d like me to tell you more!”

Brief Explanation:

“The Emotion Code enables you to find relief by releasing the energetic imbalances left behind by trapped emotions. It’s a simple, non-invasive, and effective process that allows you to connect with your subconscious mind to get answers on which trapped emotions you can release.

Through muscle testing, I will help you identify and release these trapped emotions. Many people have experienced great relief both emotionally and physically from using the Emotion Code.”

Optional Heart-Wall Explanation:

“I will also explain and possibly be able to help you release what’s called a “Heart-Wall” which is an energetic wall that is made up of multiple trapped emotions that may be preventing you from being open to love, abundance, and more. There are many possible benefits to experience with the Emotion Code, so I hope you allow me the chance to share this with you.”

Offer:

Let’s schedule some time for our first session together! I’d love to be able to explain the process to you. The session will take between 30 minutes to 1 hour.

(You can offer to meet in person, or on the phone, via Zoom, email, etc. Whatever you and your client are most comfortable with!)

Schedule:

I can’t wait to tell you all about the Emotion Code! Please let me know some days and times that’d work best for you and I will send over a calendar invite. Thank you!!

(You might also provide a few times when you are free, for your future client to choose from.)
