How did you find out about The Emotion Code and The Body Code?

I heard Dr. Brad on a radio show that I think Shifra did. I was worried about the muscle testing and so didn’t commit to training but then met Dr. Brad when he came to a Conference in Manchester about 3 years ago. Following his session on stage, he was so patient explaining to a couple of us how to muscle test that I decided he was the ‘real thing’ and immediately signed up for Certification.

How do you think these healing methods compare to other energy healing modalities?

I think they produce startling results. I have spent the last 30 years training in therapies: counseling, Hypno-psychotherapy, Reiki, quantum touch, neuro-linguistic programming and Emotional Freedom Technique. I felt that EFT was the ultimate in healing but BC and EC even surpass that – although I will on occasion include EFT to help with emotion releases. However, I feel that all those therapies I trained in have a place in healing. It’s just that I believe The Emotion Code is the one I now feel most comfortable with.

What advice would you give to those that are new to either The Emotion Code or The Body Code?

Practice, practice, practice. I was very lucky because some of my friends are very intuitive, psychic people and they ‘saw’ the energy coming in when I asked for ‘help.’ I don’t see auras or have other experiences of that nature so it was the practice and hearing my clients express amazement at the accuracy of many of the events and ages which also gave me the confidence to share this therapy with friends and family near and far, and now to work with paying clients.

What differences do you see between our healing methods and the westernized medical/drug industry?

My background is nursing and an MS in Health Promotion so this is far removed from that area of healing. This has a strong spiritual component which I love. I believe that Dr. Brad is correct when he says we are not the healers: we just fulfill the wishes of a Higher Power who works through the unconscious mind of each of us. Getting away from big pharma is a huge bonus. However, I do feel that for acute situations a hospital setting is still necessary with EC and BC working away in the background. I use it to prepare family/friends for the hospital if that is their choice of treatment and to work on them once in there.

Do you have a healing story that you could tell us about?

My friend’s 3 year-old-granddaughter was troubled with severe eczema and my friend asked me to do some Emotion Code work to see if it would help. I wasn’t able to do it for a few days due to having visitors here so I didn’t know that a recent visit to the GP had revealed a heart murmur in the granddaughter. I duly did the therapy focusing on the skin irritation and was told that the eczema had cleared up after about 2 days. Several days after this, the child’s parents took her to see a pediatrician for tests regarding the heart problem. He tested the little girl twice much to the parents consternation, as they felt it must be something serious but eventually he said that he couldn’t find any trace of a heart murmur. She was perfectly fine. The consultant couldn’t understand how the GP had made such a mistake because he’d reported that it was a very obvious murmur. That was over a year ago and neither of the problems has returned.

If you could tell the world about Dr. Nelson’s methods in one sentence, what would it be?

This is an amazing, intricate way of diagnosing and healing both physical and emotional problems and should be a part of every family’s toolbox.

How do you see this work impacting the future of health care?

Big question! As long as big pharma is so powerful, I guess this has to continue as it is now just gradually growing until the rest of society wakes up.
