Now more than ever, your future is in your hands. I believe that with The Body Code each one of us has the potential to shape our future selves and the lives of our loved ones like never before.
Shaping our future requires us to fix imbalances we may have acquired from our past. Once you release these imbalances you are able to focus on living in the now like never before. Once you are living in the now all of a sudden you are able to see your brightest future ahead of you.
hi Connie….
Like you I have been thru lots…I took a communication class years ago and you really have to focus and read this over and over till you get it…it help me change my life…
IF THE PAIN OF CHANGING IS MORE THAN
THE PAIN OF STAYING SAME
PEOPLE DO NOT CHANGE
So all this time you have known trauma and stress and all that happen ..you been feeling down and all….so it has become a comfort zone thing….you are so used to it right…
and here is what everyone is telling you all the advise…that look to future etc BUT is the FUTURE and you gotta be honest with yourself…which looks more painfull….the trauma issue…or the future…..
see if u thinking oh my god how will I deal with future…what if I fail…what if I……..etc that seems more scary than just staying the way you are…at least you are used to trauma and negative thoughts of what happen to you in past….so guess what…the pain of changing is MoRE WORSE..and choosing to just stay stuck sounds
so much familiar and safe…does that make sense …so guess what
YOU WILL CHOOSE TO STAY SAME AND NOT CHANGE….
YOU have to think ok ya I went thru all this but now WHAT…WHAT if I take a plunge and just assume im going to be succesfull even if im not at least its better then doing nothing…so all of sudden if u think all the positive things…if I forget past and take baby steps then I can look back and will think wow cant believe I wasn’t gonna change….think of all the things u went thru…at that moment it seemed like end of world…no solution …grim future..but I bet if I ask you of your trauma when it happened and your feelings then did u think you would be were u are now…probably not….but look back you survived…so this will pass as well…just start with clean slate and go forward and I bet the more you think about it little steps what if you do really well….etc…im sure you kinow what im talking about right…we are all here to support you and I know you will be success .,,you already with a great group of people and I know you are ahead of plain people off street..right..and if u look around look at your life and see homeless people, people with cancer…lonely people then youll see wow I don’t have it bad at all….right…so will you compare to scarcity and say my life sucks or will you look at how blessed you are to have your health, wealth, and happiness….rest will follow…so go for it …you can do it ….that’s why we are all here as Dr. Bradley said we are the chosen few that are going to help heal and make a better world…so already you are ahead don’t you think….anyways I wish you all the best and don’t be so hard on yourself….no one is perfect and if you were you would have a very boring life as dr. Bradley said….anyways god bless..
hope this will help you…good luck…

I keep waiting for the day I have nothing left to heal. My focus on the future would be easier if I could visualize a peaceful and successful one. But since I do not know what that looks or feels like, it is difficult to comprehend.
How does one visualize when the only reference is trauma? No one has an answer for me, at least not yet. I keep asking.
Thank you.
Fake it till you make it… Act out what you want your future to look like…it’s all in our heads!!!
The first step is identifying the pain and its nature and not how you got it. The second step is seeking to let it go. This means making decisions to watch your pain and overcoming its effect by your presence. This means you have become conscious of the pain. If for an example you find that you are easily angered, it means you have unresolved anger buried in you unconscious or subconscious level. Your decision could be to let go of the past and shift your thoughts into the now because you can only be happy now because you cannot change what happened in the past. Decision to be happy means you claim power on your life. Entertaining painful thoughts means you are unconscious because you cannot continue to inflicting pain on yourself by playing hurtful thoughts. Take control of your thoughts by being fully alert of the nature of your thoughts and you will heal most of your pains – emotional spiritual and physical pains.
Connie,
That is a very good question!
You are starting from a great place – as you have a crystal-clear vision of what you don’t want. Believe it or not, that is helpful.
A suggestion is to look for evidence that is NOT trauma. There are so many references for you – just look at Dr Brad! He’s an example of what peace and success are.
Are there any other role models you have that would come close to being desired for you?
That’s where and how you could begin:
“I know Dr Brad feels peace and success – I can hear it in his voice. I can see it in the work he does. That is what I would like to experience for myself.”
Start with that very general thought, and ask the Universe, God, however you call your HIgher Being to show you examples in your own life.
Intend & decide that’s what you’re going to begin to see.
Make a list of those – you’ll be pleasantly surprised when the list grows!
Do you have any places that bring you peace when you visit them? Out in Nature, or a quiet room somewhere? It could be a library, a coffee shop, a friend’s home – any place you enjoy being. Think on how you feel there. Where in your body do you feel it? Is it a tingly feeling, or a dreamy feeling? Happy & eager,or . . .
Expand that feeling. Just spending 1 or 2 minutes with it at first, to build the muscles of visioning.
You might also take that sentence you wrote and turn it around. “My focus on the future would be easier if I could visualize a peaceful and successful one.” becomes something like “My focus on the future is getting easier because I am learning to visualize a peaceful and successful one.”
The small changes may seem to take a while, but you have to believe what you are saying & thinking. If you turned it around completely to “I visualize Peace and Success easily” you’re not going to believe it. 🙂
You could also do The Emotion Code on the thought & belief that the only reference you have is trauma. You wouldn’t be posting here if that were truly the case. Your soul knows that there is help for you, and is guiding you to reach out so you can find your way.
Give yourself some slack – everyone has something that they work on consistently. I like to think of it as one of our Soul Purposes in life – to have a signature thing we work on so that we can help others with that very thing.
Remember we all have learning curves. Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither was The Emotion Code or the Body Code. However, there was a commitment to that dream, and that’s what your decision is now: do you commit to feeling at peace?
Yes? Then declare it loudly! Declare it many times throughout the day, quietly and to yourself. Shout it out in the shower!
Bless you for asking this question and wanting to live in a better world for yourself.
Hello Connie, First of all, please know that many people have only their own life trauma as their starting point of reference. You are not alone in this.
The question you ask is one so many others ask as well. It’s kind of like trying to visualize what the color blue looks like if you’ve never seen it. There are probably a variety of answers to your question and here’s one of them.
First of all you must ASK your god/spirit/divine source for what you want. If you don’t ask, divine source cannot help you. So ASK.
Next comes a hard one. TRUST. One of the keys to your future lies in trusting that, despite anything that happened in the past, divine source holds your best interest as its intention for you. If, in this moment, you can’t visualize the future you would like to have for yourself, begin to trust that it is there. Then ask your god/spirit/divine source to reveal it to you. And trust in the response you get. Again, the key is TRUST.
The next key to uncovering your wonderful future is ACTION. You must take action in the direction your guidance is pointing out for you. Let’s say, for example, that you board a plane for a trip and happen to sit next to someone with whom you strike up a conversation and that conversation happens to be about healing. (These things just happen when you move into the space of trust.) Your seat mate tells you about a wonderful healer she works with – one who has a practice in your neighborhood. From the space of TRUST that you now know about you can trust that divine guidance brought you and this person together to give you a message. Now it’s up to you to take ACTION and follow through on this message by contacting this new healer.
As you begin to live your life this way – ASKing for guidance, TRUSTing in your divine guidance and taking ACTION on it – you will find that more and more of these “coincidences” occur for you. As you get better at asking, trusting and taking action as a result of these coincidences your life will start to become better. You will begin to get glimpses of what your new future could look like. As you begin to get those glimpses, you will become more able to visualize something better for yourself.
I hope this has helped you at least a little. May you have many blessing in your future. Please to ASK, TRUST, and take ACTION.
Thank you Meg. I like the ATA! (Act, Trust and Action). It’s like Awakening To Abundance. Connie should do it. Not try….blessings.
Hi, Connie
To me it seems more important to focus on the here and now. All the great masters of the past teach me to take care of the present moment and the future will be automatically cared for.
For the answer you are asking for, read and listen to Dr. Bradly Nelson because he has given the answers before our questions. I am so grateful to him!
For any sorrow past or present: let’s try to bless our traumas, aches and pains as the marvelous video on Blessing our DNA teaches us. God bless you!
Dear Connie, your are doing a great job releasing those past traumas. Keep it up. I can relate a story of a time while that I was working on myself with hands on energy healing modality called ,Quantum Touch and I had the same question.
I was trying to heal a part of the body that was injured during exercise and I had a hard time focusing in something different than the resonance of pain. During the session I was able to focus on the Chakra that the shoulder/arms belong to, the Heart chakra. The moment I shifted the focus to that particular chakra, I was able to shift the resonance to Love, gratitude and tranquility.
The lesson here is to shift you attention and intention away from the trauma and to the new reality of love, peace, gratitude and hope that you are experiencing with the release of trapped emotions
