Emotional baggage is a common phrase, but what exactly is it?

Sometimes grief, sadness, anger, and other negative emotions caused by life events can be hard to leave behind – but why? Dr. Nelson believes that most methods for dealing with emotional baggage don’t take into account the very nature of our emotions – that they are actually made of physical energy.

People Practicing Energy Healing Have Been Manipulating Negative Energy for Decades

Energy healing doesn’t require fancy or expensive equipment to get rid of emotional baggage. Our premise is that, just like our bodies, emotions are made of frequencies of energy. When you feel an emotion – positive or negative – you’re generating a frequency which may affect your body and mind. Joy and love (happy emotions) might feel good because they have higher and more positive vibrations. Negative emotions like anger and grief might feel bad because they have lower vibrations. Negative or overwhelming emotions may become stuck in the body. We call these Trapped Emotions.

The Emotion Code shows individuals how to release each Trapped Emotion, one at a time, like peeling layers from an onion. Dr. Nelson’s premise is that Trapped Emotions may be at the root of physical and emotional problems, and that eliminating them may relieve those issues – sometimes instantly.

We break down this process into four steps:

Discover

The first step is understanding that you may be holding on to the energy of old emotional trauma, and learning how to release it. Reading The Emotion Code book is a great place to start, and for those who really want to master the technique can sign up for The Emotion Code Certification Program.

Expose

Find the emotional energy that may be at the root of your issue. The process is to ask “Do I have a Trapped Emotion?” using muscle testing. If the response is yes, you can work to identify which emotion is affecting you by using The Emotion Code chart. While some other methods require you to relive these painful memories, our process does not. Once you’ve located the Trapped Emotion, our process is designed to simply release it from the body.

Release

First you must intend to release the emotion. We also use the body’s governing meridian. When you use the energy of your own intention and run a magnet (which amplifies the force of your intention) over the governing meridian, that emotion can be released instantly.

Empower

The body begins this stage automatically once Trapped Emotions have been released. You may notice changes taking place, either right away or over the following days. Some people report feeling lighter, experiencing less discomfort or more happiness, and other positive responses.
