Our hearts go out to the victims of this senseless bombing at the Boston Marathon. It’s hard to imagine what goes on in the mind of a person so deranged to think that a horrific act like this is somehow acceptable.
Unfortunately, violent acts like this have been going on on a daily basis on this planet since the very beginning. What is it that allows people to be so unfeeling, so thoughtless, so careless and so brutal?
I believe that the answer lies in understanding that each person literally has two, entirely separate brains. New research is revealing that what the ancients believed about the human heart, that it was the seat of the soul, the source of our love and creativity, and the core of our being, is actually true. The heart is a second “brain,” a brain that stores our fondest memories, our best creative ideas, and our love, and that connects us with our higher power.
I believe that the answer lies in the walls that we put up around our hearts, walls that are intended to protect us from the heartache and hurt that we are experiencing ourselves, but walls that end up disconnecting us from our fellow beings.
When you read or hear about one person brutalizing another person, abusing or hurting another person in some way, I believe that the perpetrator, if examined, would always be found to have this phenomenon that we call “the Heart-Wall.”
What is the global result when the vast majority of people suffer from these invisible walls around their hearts? War, genocide, racial strife, and murder. You see, we “feel” with the brain in our hearts. When that heart-brain is walled off, we are left with the dilemma of trying to “feel” with the brain in our heads, which “feels” nothing. The brain in our heads is purely logical, and thinks that it’s perfectly all right to use war to settle differences between nations and drop bombs on defenseless civilians. The brain in our heads readily subscribes to the belief that any human suffering is justifiable if the ends are important enough to us.
I have seen the changes that take place on an individual level when a person’s Heart-Wall is removed. I have seen people find love after decades of loneliness. I’ve seen people find success after a lifetime of disappointment. And I have had people tell me that for the first time in their lives they can “feel” the love of God for them, after having their Heart-Wall removed.
How important is it to remove as many Heart-Walls as we can? How much do we want the world to change? Have we learned what we need to learn? Have we had enough of the suffering, the insanity, the wars and conflicts of this earth?
I know that this world is going to change. I know the day is coming when there will no longer be war on the face of the earth. I know the day is coming when the lamb will lie down with the lion, and there will finally be peace. I believe that the power is now within us to help bring about this new world.
Start with yourself. Remove your own Heart-Wall. Don’t stop there. Keep going. Remove the Heart-Walls from your loved ones, and from as many people as you can. It may seem like a small thing. The only way we can change this world is by changing it one heart at a time. We now have a way to do just that, so let’s get busy!
Dr. Brad 🙂
I had a client ask if the energy from the trapped emotions in a heart-wall extend out as far as the heart-wall extends, ex: if her heart-wall is 126 miles thick does the energy extend that far? I understand that the energy from the heart, itself, can be measured up to 12′ from the body.
Hi Juliana,
The Heart-wall consists of the energy of the emotions. The subconscious knows what that measurement is and will confirm that energy is part of the Heart-wall whatever the distance is.
The energy from the organ of the heart itself can be measured with the technology available today, approx. 12′.
Hi Dr. Brad,
One of the first things I thought when I found out about the Marathon bombing was the “Heart Wall” or the lack of.
I also thought if all of us EC Practitioners could somehow find those people who needed are help with the bombing trauma and the trapped emotions and also, be able to release their Heart Walls as well, what a service that would be!
This healing process never seems to leave my mind…
Thanks for everything! 🙂
Dr Bradley Nelson
Thank you so much for the Emotion Code. This has helped me so much in my self healing. The above article was so beautifully written and full of hope in that we first make the changes in ourselves that we want to see in the world.
Keep practicing and inspiring others you are so worthwhile.
Love and light

Thanks Anthony!
I love what you’re saying, and I agree with the philosophy behind it. If there is research revealing what the ancients believed about the heart, I’d love to read it. Where can I find it?
