I just read the most interesting book by Prentice Mulford called Thoughts are Things and I wanted to share some useful information that could help when doing an Emotion Code or Body Code session with a client or yourself.

When a person gets sick with an illness or a disease the body is actually trying to release old or relative dead matter from your system. We are meant to release our old skin, ideas, and anything that no longer serves us. One way the universe does this for us is if we aren’t listening to our body and resting, then we will get sick.

Prentice Mulford writes that we are just like nature. Most trees and plants go dormant in the winter and shed their leaves or petals. They take time to rest and get ready for Spring time.

People are suppose to do the same thing. We are suppose to rest especially in the winter and allow our body to dispose of what no longer serves us. The Emotion Code and Body Code are a great tool to help the body do just that; by asking the body what it wants to release so that we can be healthier and more open to what the beautiful Spring has in store for us.

I recently got a cold and instead of making it, or me wrong, which is what I have always done in the past, I invited it in like I would a friend. I asked it what it was trying to tell me and what I could do to make it feel better. As a certified Law of Attraction coach I have learned that whatever energy we give out is exactly the energy we will get back so I sent it love and compassion.

My cold was serving a purpose and by welcoming it I got to learn the lesson it was trying to teach me. I got the time to meditate and read several great books. I got to see how powerful The Emotion Code and Body Code really are by this experience. I have always been very hard on myself and beaten myself up most of my life and this is the first time I didn’t do that. I gave myself the compassion and tenderness I would have given my child if they were sick. That is so huge for me and I didn’t make me or the cold wrong. This is all because of the work I have done with The Emotion Code and The Body Code.

I learned in my coaching program that when things fall apart in your life we should pause and ask the universe this question; why is this happening for me? Not, why is this happening to me? This is a big difference in the way you look at your life. By asking why is this happening for me you are taking full responsibility for your life and you know that the universe is asking you to step it up a notch. You are being asked to play a bigger game, learn some lessons and help others through your experiences. Everything that happens in our life is helping us on our path if we can change the way we look at it.

The Emotion and The Body Code are the ideal way to address whatever issue is coming up for you or your client and release whatever trapped emotion or imbalance are in the way.

I just worked on a client who is very sick each year for 10 days with the cold and flu. I asked her if she ever gave herself permission to take time off to let her mind, body and spirit rest. Of course I knew the answer, she said “no”. By not listening to her body the only way the universe could get her attention was by making her sick. During the session I found a despair anchor that she was unworthy and we spent the whole session releasing imbalances associated with her despair anchor. We had to do two sessions just to release all the imbalances around that one despair anchor, which really surprised me how powerful one statement can be and how it can effect our whole life.

Please listen to your body and give it rest. I meditate and spend time in prayer every day. That is my way of thanking my body, mind and spirit for all it does for me. I do believe that dis-ease is caused from us ignoring our body for so long and that it has no other way to communicate but through an illness. The Emotion Code and The Body Code are the fastest way to pinpoint the imbalance and release it and I am so very grateful I am able to use these tools every day of my life.
