Our Conscious Minds are Very Limited

While we are incredibly intelligent beings, we only use a small portion of our minds throughout each day. We forget little things all the time because our conscious mind is easily sidetracked. Dr. Nelson believes that the far greater part of our brain power lies within our subconscious mind.

The subconscious is active all the time, recording our every experience – smell, taste, things we see, and thoughts we’ve had. Unfortunately, most people don’t know how valuable that information is and how they could use it to improve physical and emotional wellness.

Muscle Testing is a Tool for Accessing Information in the Subconscious Mind

Physical and mental discomforts are often symptoms of larger, underlying issues or imbalances within the body. While these root problems may be difficult to detect, we believe our subconscious minds are fully aware of what our bodies need. Muscle testing allows us to tap into the subconscious mind to find imbalances and deficiencies that could be causing our outward symptoms.

The Sway Test Shows the Principles of Muscle Testing

The premise of the sway test is that your body tends to sway towards thoughts of positivity, truth and congruence. Likewise, the same premise says that the body tends to sway away from falsehood and incongruence.

Think about this phenomenon: if you were to place a plant near soothing, peaceful music, science implies that the plant will gradually start to bend toward that sound. But if you change the music to something harsh like acid rock, the plant will begin to bend away from the speaker. Even the roots may curve away from that harsh sound.

This principle is similar to using the sway test on your body and seeing how it responds to truth and goodness, versus falsehood and negativity.

LEARN THE SWAY TEST

For some, test results will be very apparent. For others, you may need to practice the sway test a number of times until you begin to feel comfortable in recognizing your body’s reaction to negative and positive statements.

You can use the sway test to determine if you have a Trapped Emotion

The sway test is just one of many methods used for muscle testing. We have a free course to learn more about muscle testing so you can master this technique to go further in The Emotion Code process.
“I was not very good at muscle testing. It took me quite a while to get to that place where I could actually say yes, that I was getting the answers that I wanted…I think where it really came into play for me was I just decided to recognize if I felt a yes, then it was a yes and if it was a no… If it felt like a no, then it was a no. And in the beginning I knew that maybe sometimes that wasn’t exactly accurate, but I just went with it. So I let go of the second guessing and that totally changed things for me.”
