Please say hi to Lindsay Hopper, she is our featured Emotion Code practitioner this week. Lindsay used to work in the government, but traded career to be an Emotion Code practitioner – so we think she is quite wonderful! Lindsay’s story of how she came to find out about TEC is great, and you would be doing yourself a favor if you read her entire Spotlight as she gives insightful answers and some great tips to using The Emotion Code “Practice on yourself as often as possible (I call it daily energy hygiene)”. You should also contact her for a session if you feel so inclined. You can find her contact details below.
How did you find out about The Emotion Code and how long have you been practicing?
In March 2012, I was called to take time off of a successful career in government to explore what I felt was my true calling as a healer. It wasn’t long before I was guided to listen to a radio program featuring Dr. Brad and his Emotion Code work. The information he shared about trapped emotions, the Heart-Wall and how we each had a healer within resonated so deeply within me that I ordered his book and completed my certification within a few months.
How do you think The Emotion Code compares to other energy healing modalities?
One of the aspects of The Emotion Code I find most unique and most powerful is how in accessing the subconscious mind through simple muscle testing, an individual can quickly and easily discover the root causes of any struggle they are experiencing, even long-standing issues. Something I so enjoy about doing sessions with people is when they recall a memory of an experience and can see how their perception of that experience set up a pattern in their lives. Once you can see that original experience from the perspective of who you are now, it gives you freedom to move forward in a new and empowered way. Of course it’s also fun to witness physical pain vanish in an instant and I personally have not come across another modality that works so efficiently and effectively as The Emotion Code and The Body Code for that. I know it’s hard for people to imagine it being so simple to get rid of pain but I use it on myself all the time and have become quite accustomed to being pain-free.
What advice would you give to those that are new to practicing The Emotion Code?
Practice on yourself as often as possible (I call it daily energy hygiene) and on as many others as you can. The results can be startling, subtle, immediate or may take a while so it helps to experience all kinds of results to build your faith that it is working and to learn to trust your intuition. I also practice meditation, yoga, spend time in nature and eat a proper diet as other ways to boost my intuition. Another important piece which Dr. Brad talks about as well is to call in help from ‘above’. I use all the help I can get! Before I begin working with someone I ask for help from my higher self, their higher self and ask that all of our non-physical peeps (Angels, Archangels, Ascended Masters, etc.) surround us and send their love and light. I can always feel the amazing grace this brings to a session. I would also suggest to practice working from your heart as much as possible as this is the place from which our intention comes through most powerfully.
What are the differences between The Emotion Code and the westernized medical/drug industry?
I believe many people go into the medical profession with a calling to heal and I’m sure many of them succeed in greatly helping people. I also fully respect that there is a time and place for traditional medical intervention, for example in emergency situations and even in cases where people do not yet have the awareness that there is more they can do to improve their health. Until enough people shift away from a paradigm of health care beyond surgery and drugs, these interventions may continue to be necessary for some people. However, for those who have realized they no longer want to give away their power to a healthcare system which may or may not be in alignment with their best interests, managing our personal energy through tools such as The Emotion Code offers a much more empowered and organic way towards ultimate health and in that way there truly is no comparison.
Do you have a healing story using The Emotion Code that you could tell us about?
I have several stories but will share one that best exemplifies the beauty of The Emotion Code. A young woman (we’ll call her Emma) came to me after years of struggling with social anxiety. She had just had her first child and had decided she wanted to overcome these anxieties so she could give her daughter a better life. Being a new mother to a beautiful daughter myself, I completely understood (I use EC on my daughter often). While working with Emma, we found many of her current anxieties stemmed back to insecurity issues when she was younger. She also had many abandonment issues in childhood as her mother had been in and out of her life as she grew up. Because The Emotion Code goes into inherited issues, we also brought to Emma’s awareness much of her mother’s trauma from when she was a child and she was able to see how her mother had been acting from her own place of pain while raising Emma. After one in-person session and three e-mail sessions, I received an e-mail from Emma that she felt so much more at ease in new situations and had gotten involved in all kinds of mom and baby groups. She had even started studying to become a baby sign language teacher! In truth she did it all herself, she just had to get some blocks out of the way so that she could feel free to do the things she’d always wanted.
If you could tell the world about The Emotion Code in one sentence, what would it be?
The Emotion Code is an access point to the complete well-being and freedom which is our true nature.
Where do you see the future of energy medicine headed?
I believe one day energy medicine won’t even be called that as it will just be common sense to us all to keep our energy as clear as possible. Just like we all brush our teeth every day! But until that point I see more and more people becoming aware of energy medicine and its incredible life-enhancing benefits. It’s up to us to lead the way!
