Florida healer, Forrest Samnik, is our featured Emotion Code Practitioner this week. Please read our interview with her as she gives us great insight into her journey with healing and she shares great advice. Please contact Forrest for a session, or just to say hi. You can find her contact information below.
How did you find out about The Emotion Code and how long have you been practicing?
As a certified practitioner of several modalities within the realm of energy psychology, including EFT, I was exposed to The Emotion Code from other energy healers, mostly by mention on Facebook. I purchased the book and fooled around a bit by starting to clear my Heart-Wall. What convinced me to become certified was the profound healing when I worked on my dogs Heart-Wall. He was very dominant and resource possessive (to the point of being dangerous if a toy or food was approached). He is now loving and calm with no aggressive tendencies. That was over two years ago. I am now 2 weeks from completing the certification process for The Body Code.
How do you think The Emotion Code compares to other energy healing modalities?
The Emotion Code takes all the guess work out of getting to the root of a problem because we are addressing the subconscious mind directly. It pinpoints exactly what the trapped energy is, and where it is located in the body. It’s the most efficient technique I’ve come across to date.
What advice would you give to those that are new to practicing The Emotion Code?
Be open and patient with yourself when learning how to muscle test. Asking for divine guidance and allowing spirit to guide you will lead you exactly where you need to go. I honor my role as a conduit for divine healing and praise God for the miracles that are happening through his grace.
What are the differences between The Emotion Code and the westernized medical/drug industry?
Allopathic medicine concentrates on symptom management. The Emotion Code finds and releases the root cause of the symptom – trapped energy. Once this energy has been released, the body has everything it needs for self-healing. I see symptoms as a message from the body – it’s the way our bodies communicate to us that something is out of balance. Medicine inhibits this communication by “shutting up” the symptom. Unfortunately, not only is balance NOT being restored, drugs and surgery may cause further imbalance.
Do you have a healing story using The Emotion Code that you could tell us about?
I have many stories of physical healing through The Emotion Code, but my favorite is a healing between a mother and daughter, both of whom were clients. The relationship was dysfunctional to say the least. The daughter, though very talented and intelligent was close to being homeless and felt resentful toward and victimized by her mother who came from the “spare the rod, spoil the child” parenting philosophy. Mom had tried many times to make it up to her daughter through monetary gifts and overly praising her daughter as an adult. After releasing the Heart-Wall from both of them, mom was able to verbally apologize and express remorse for her actions as a young parent. The daughter was able to forgive her mother and see/feel how much mom really loves her. Since then, the daughter has found a great job she enjoys, and many of mom’s physical ailments have healed. The two have developed a healthy, loving relationship and are no longer playing out a dysfunctional pattern of blame by daughter and enabling by mom. They are both huge advocates for dismantling the Heart-Wall!
If you could tell the world about The Emotion Code in one sentence, what would it be?
If you are ready to take back your power over your own health and well being, learn The Emotion Code.
Where do you see the future of energy medicine headed?
As the understanding of the power of energy medicine reaches critical mass, people will seek out energy practitioners to the point that all health care providers will have to embrace energy methodologies or fail to compete in the marketplace.
