Dr. Nelson often mentions that Creative Insecurity is his favorite emotion to clear from people.
Let’s look at why!
Definition of Creative Insecurity: Feeling unsafe or untrusting the self about the creation or development of anything (relationships, family, health, money, career and/or artistic endeavors.) A feeling of insecurity that arises and blocks the creative process. (e.g. writer’s block)
Just like a Heart-Wall creative insecurity will block your ability to follow your heart and create the life that you want. If you are feeling like there are still some blocks in your life check for this trapped emotion specifically and release it!
by Josh Nelson, Emotion Code and Body Code Practitioner
Hi all
Firstly thank you for sharing your experience and wisdom.
I am completely new at this (about to start my EC certification) and have just (a week ago) had my first session with a lovely BC/EC certified practitioner in Utah. It has been a difficult week, with emotional ups and downs. I desperately wanted to report back that the lightness I felt during our session, where 13 emotions were released from 4 different times in my life, is how I still feel but I couldn’t because instead I felt heavy and asif a dark cloud is following me around. This past week end I have submerged myself in webinars, videos and info re. the BC/EC work of dr Nelson. Today, I had a moment where I thought: Well, I have to start somewhere, so why not here and now, maybe I can help myself out of this heaviness and greyness….. so I did. I used a pendulum (I am very confident with this method of testing) as I did not want to doubt whether my muscle testing techniques were good enough (at this stage) and distract from my mission.
I carefully followed the sequence of questions and identified CREATIVE INSECURITY within no time. I have heard of this before in webinars from sessions with clients, but could not remember much. Then I googled it and it took me here – another step in confidence which just flowed after I got my answer and released the trapped emotion. And even a bigger step: here I am writing and sharing what I have just experienced. I must say, I feel quite a bit lighter and am very excited to immediately report to my practitioner once I have finished this comment.
I just did my first session on myself and I broke the ice and also my insecurity.
I am so grateful and thankful that I have discovered this amazing work and tool offered.
Any comments and advice very welcome. It was interesting that TERROR which was mentioned above in Hazel’s comments also came up with me, it was however not strong and when I went back through all 5 emotions, CREATIVE INSECURITY was definitely the one identified. I did not pursue it further after releasing it. I do not feel 100% “free & light” yet so I will go back later and do what Hazel did with her client. Thank you, Hazel!
Kind blessings to all
Nicci
I agree Creative Insecurity is always a BIG emotion to clear but I find when I find and clear Peeved and Anger, I get goosebumps as these usually have affected the clients in ways like B/P problems and mood problems and then they experience a change for the better in these areas. It is a wonderful fulfilling feeling to assist people with releasing trapped emotions. Thanks so much for these programs that have become priceless tools for this work.♥
Addendum: I can’t put in writing the joy that washed over me when this TE of creative insecurity was released……
Hi Josh!
When I first saw this tip, I passed over it, saying to self, I’ll read it later….I was ‘busy’ doing The Artist’s Way at Work/Riding the Dragon–Twelve Weeks to Creative Freedom by Mark Bryan with Julie Cameron. However, I’m on Week Seven, and started it January 12th, 2012! What’s wrong with this picture?? This morning I was working on ‘Clean Closet/Computer, Clean Mind’ and came across the tip again.
My heart said, what are you waiting for? so I checked this TE specifically and released it. Wow! it was old–age 15–graduating high school and felt I had no choice in following my dream. Thank you for clarity….this is the quickest, easiest method of healing on the planet!
I’m very new to all this, but earlier today was considering whether the emotion code might help me to actually start some of the projects I have in mind. I’ve also been asking for guidance, generally. It feels pretty good to receive the answer from Josh. Thank you very much.
Thank you for your comments, Hazel. I have been an Emotion Code Practitioner now for about 7 months, and enjoy learning from others’ experiences. I have seen this emotion, obviously, but never viewed it in this light. I will have to start focusing on it specifically.
Thank you, Josh, for sharing this!
All of this work has done so much for myself, my family, and many friends. Thank you, Dr. Nelson for sharing this with the world! I just got my Body Code package in the mail today, and I am extremely excited to have my own copy! I hope to also become a Body Code Practitioner.
Over the past couple of years I have learnt to take notice of things that I’d previously dismissed as “just being a coincidence”. So I would now say that it is no coincidence that this short reminder was posted in the very week that I heard from a client I’d removed a Heart Wall and Hidden Heart Wall from a month ago – she wrote to let me know that she was disappointed to report that she still felt blocked from the world and achieving the things she knew she wanted to do. I checked her for Trapped Emotions of Creative Insecurity and found four which I released. She instantly fed back to me that she now knows she is going to be able to move forward – she no longer feels blocked and feels much more connected and positive.
Thank you Josh for giving me the answer just when I, and my client, needed it.
Thank you, Hazel, for your story! Something puzzled me there though: how was it possible to release the same emotion more times from the same person? Actually, the question is: how could you find it four times? Did you ask specifically how many “instances” of this emotion are trapped within that person? Did you need to identify the “expression” of each such instance in order to release it?
Thank you so much!
Hi Cristina. We can trap the same emotion many times at different stages in our life so, being mindful of this I just asked “Do you have a trapped emotion of Creative Insecurity?” For each one I established the client’s age when it was trapped and then was able to clear it. I repeated this process until I got a “no” for the initial question.
Hope this helps
Hazel
Hazel, so true. I have been keep track for each client at the very minimum the year it was trapped and find that the same one is trapped over a period of time. I like your approach and may ask the same question if I see a trend so that we can release as many as possible.
I also find I like removing terror and fear because many of us fall back subconsciously to fear and come up with lots of excuses as why we should not do something.
