trapped emotions

I have an amazing story from my early experience with The Emotion Code. While working with a client, whom I did not know had any serious illness, I found the emotion of Shy (from a Kinergetics chart of emotions) and it was trapped in the skin. He responded, "Now you are starting to freak me out" I asked why, this is what he told me, "For years I have suffered from HS, a rare skin disease, it prevents me from wearing deodorant because it makes blistery sores in my armpits. I have an outbreak daily and it makes me really self-conscious." I was shocked by the severity of his pain and searched for more Trapped Emotions related to this disease. We found Defensive going back to the event of a brother-like cousin's death. I asked if he suffered from this disease before this event, he said no. Surprisingly, these were the only two emotions connected to it. I didn't hear from him for weeks. When I ran into him again he said, "Oh, I forgot to tell you, I have not had a single outbreak since you did that session on me! I wore deodorant for the first time in years!" My joy was immense! His case really displays the power of emotions over the physical body.
