Hormones play a huge role in our wellness since they control many bodily functions. When we are in good health our endocrine glands produce just the right amount of hormones at exactly the right time. This keeps the body balanced beautifully. Any imbalance in the production or action of our hormones can cause physical and mental health issues.

Issues Caused by a Hormone Imbalance

Our hormones regulate many important processes in the body. Imbalances can have significant impacts on physical and mental health. Some examples of issues caused by hormonal imbalances include:

  • Fatigue
  • Unexplained weight gain or loss
  • Mood swings
  • Irregular periods for women
  • Fertility issues
  • Acne
  • Hair loss or thinning
  • Digestive problems
  • Poor sleep quality or insomnia
  • Thyroid imbalances of hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism
  • Blood sugar issues which can lead to diabetes or hypoglycemia

28 Natural Ways to Balance Your Hormones

Eat a balanced, nutritious diet.

1. Including healthy protein sources in your meals can help keep your hormones balanced. This is especially helpful for hormones that regulate the metabolism.

2. Introduce more healthy fats into your diet. Fats such as Omega-3 fatty acids help keep hormones balanced.

3. Keep sugar and refined carbs limited to help support your hormone balance.

4. Eat fiber-rich foods to support your gut health and regulate hormone levels.

5. Enjoy vegetables, especially cruciferous veggies like broccoli, cabbage, and kale. These support the detoxification of excess hormones.

6. Consume fermented foods like yogurt, kefir, sauerkraut, and kombucha, which contain probiotics. These foods can improve gut health, which in turn supports hormone balance.

7. Prebiotic foods such as garlic, onions, and bananas feed beneficial gut bacteria, which help promote better digestion. Digestion aids in the regulation of hormones.

Keep stress under control.

8. Get enough sleep! Sleep is essential for hormone regulation, and helps reduce stress levels in the body.

9. Try practicing mindfulness to help lower cortisol levels and keep hormones balanced.

10. Take time for self-care. Whatever that means for you – curl up with a good book, take a bubble bath, hike outdoors, enjoy a yoga class – anything that helps you relax!

Move your body regularly.

11. Physical activity can help regulate hormones and improve overall wellness.

12. Build muscles to help the body regulate insulin.

13. Take walks outdoors to move your body, and release stress.

14. Exercising regularly can also help you to maintain a healthy weight, especially when paired with a healthy diet. Being underweight or overweight can lead to disruption of hormone levels.

Limit your exposure to chemicals that can disrupt endocrine function.

15. Avoid BPA and phthalates in cosmetics, skincare, sunscreen, and cleaning products. Fragrance-free products typically contain fewer chemicals.

16. Limit your use of plastics, since they often contain chemicals that can cause hormone issues.

17. When possible, choose organic produce. Pesticides used on fruits and vegetables can have a negative effect on your hormones.

18. Wash your hands frequently, especially before eating. This can help rinse off any chemicals you pick up throughout the day from everyday items.

19. Dust and vacuum your home frequently to reduce your exposure to harmful chemicals that can accumulate in your home.

20. Drink filtered water whenever possible. Tap water can contain hormone disruptors, and filtering it before drinking will help protect your wellness.

Supplement your diet with vitamins that support hormone balance.

21. Magnesium regulates stress hormones and supports adrenal health.

22. Vitamin D supports the healthy function of hormones.

23. B Vitamins regulate energy production, stress, and mood.

Consult your doctor before making any major changes to your diet, exercise, or starting new supplements. If you’re experiencing serious hormonal imbalance issues, you may want to consult with a healthcare provider for medical treatments!

Check Your Hormones With Energy Healing: Emotion Code, Body Code, and Belief Code

As you may know, everything is energy! Keeping that in mind, when working with any energetic imbalance, we can ask the subconscious mind what needs to be released to allow the body to return to balance. These tools can help support hormonal balance by releasing the underlying cause of the imbalances.

To address hormone imbalances and the endocrine system with energy healing, start by asking the body what percent the endocrine system is functioning at. Then use muscle testing to check each hormone to determine if it is functioning at optimal levels for the body. It is also important to ask what trapped emotions need to be released in order to allow the endocrine glands to function properly. We can then release any associated energies that may interfere with their function.

Questions that you can ask while using energy healing to help support hormone balance:

  • Which hormones are not functioning optimally and creating these issues or symptoms?
  • Is there a specific hormone that is contributing to this issue or symptom?
  • What level is the hormone functioning at? Less than 50% or more than 50%?
  • Is there an associated emotion that is causing this hormone to be imbalanced?

Once identified, release the emotion. Then check if anything else is causing the imbalance. When nothing else shows up, ask at what level it is functioning now. You may be amazed how much that percentage can change after releasing trapped energies! In one session there can be many hormones that need balancing or there could only be one.

Energy Healing Practitioners Find Success Balancing Hormones

“I was inspired by Beth Foley (Body Code Practitioner), to look further into hormonal disease. She suggested that we look at what percentage the endocrine system is functioning at, and then check the hormones to see if they were functioning at 100% of the optimal levels for the body.

“I’ve been working with a client who has diabetes. I thought that working on my client’s hormone issues could be another way of working with this kind of condition.

“After the first day of working specifically on their hormone issue, their fasting blood sugar began to hover just slightly above normal. This has also happened after previous sessions, but this time they said they felt better. I continue to allow my intuition to guide me and ask for help, and as Dr. Brad always says, this is for the good of our clients and ourselves!”

“I have been on bio-identical hormone replacement for years. Without them, life was pretty rough. A few months before learning about the Emotion Code they had me on such a high level of testosterone, I was going through a voice change and growing whiskers on my face. I hated it. After doing some clearing, I am off all my hormones and feeling great! My voice went back to normal and I had no more dark hair on my face.”

“After about one year of doing the Emotion Code and the Body Code on family and friends, I was recommended to a woman I had never met before. She was in her early thirties and had struggled with infertility for over 7 years. They had finally saved enough money to start treatments. She had started on hormone injections, but her prolactin levels wouldn’t respond and she wouldn’t be able to proceed with the next steps until the prolactin levels reached the target range.

“As I started working with her, I found and released many trapped emotions, resonances, and emotional compounds of fear, shame, panic, guilt, horror, despair, and vulnerability, all lodged in her uterus, cervix, ovaries, and fallopian tubes, all at ages 20-21. She knew exactly what the event was, but did not discuss it, nor did I ask. She was very hard to read and wouldn’t give much feedback, so I just had to remember that God would use me as the vessel for increasing balance and I didn’t need to know, just to trust. She preferred that I do this energy work remotely by proxy and just email her the results.

“After the first session, her prolactin levels started dropping. Over about 6 sessions, I found and released physical traumas, memory fields, images, and other imbalances all pertaining to age 21, all having to do with a male. Finally, it occurred to me to ask her subconscious questions like, “Are you okay with being pregnant? Is it safe to be pregnant? Do you deserve to be pregnant?” I worded these types of questions in many different ways so I got several Yes answers, but mostly No’s. I worked on the No’s to find the associated or underlying root causes, and as expected, most had to do with this event at age 21.

“Once we finished these sessions, I didn’t hear back from her. About 3 months later, I got an email from her husband saying she was pregnant and hadn’t even needed to use in vitro fertilization! What a blessing for them and for me. Once again, it gave me the validation and confirmation that this work is REAL, not that I doubted it, because I’d already seen such amazing transformations in wellness and miracles take place.”
